PSAT Testing

PSAT Information
10/12/22

Grades 9-11 will take PSATs on October 12th.  The exams are free, and no registration is necessary.  The PSAT is a practice test for the actual SAT that students typically take the 2nd semester of their junior year.  For juniors only, the PSAT is also the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT), so if they score high enough, they could potentially qualify for money through the National Merit Scholarship.

Here is some important test-day information:

Testing will begin promptly at 8:00 and finish around 11:00 for freshman and around 11:30 for sophomores and juniors.
Students should bring two #2 pencils and at least a 4-function calculator.  Calculators will not be provided.
Grades 9-11 TCHS students should report to PAHS for PSAT testing that morning.  They will not attend AM TCHS programs.
